The "one-piece" manifolds were used between 1996-2002
The replacement kit 864293A02 includes:

Some MerCruiser V6 engines were sold with a 1-piece
manifold/riser (above).  They are no-longer-available.  
The replacement is the traditional 2-piece manifold
and riser combination (below).

The V6 1-piece to 2-piece conversion
kit includes two manifolds, two 4
inch risers, two 4 inch rubber
bellows, eight 4 inch hose clamps,
two exhaust pipes, two cylinder head
to exhaust manifold gaskets, two
manifold to riser gaskets, eight riser
to manifold bolts and two water hose
inlet fittings with drain plugs.

The outlet dimensions on the new replacement 2-piece exhaust
manifold is the same as the old 1-piece exhaust manifold.  They
both measure 4 1/4 inches long X 3 inches wide.

There is some confusion about
changing the "Y" pipe when
installing the 2-piece manifold
conversion kit. The original "Y"
pipe can be used.
